  • I received a BA in English, magna cum laude, from Columbia University in 2016. I completed my Master’s in Social Work at New York University in 2021. I also hold an MA in English Literature from UCLA.

  • Before my clinical career, I worked in education: as a graduate instructor at UCLA and as an academic mentor to youth in foster care at the Dorm Project. During my clinical training, I worked with GMHC and Community Access providing direct support to individuals experiencing homelessness and severe mental illness. I previously worked at Housing Works’ Community Mental Health Clinic, and am now in private practice at Body Positive NYC, under the supervision of Zoë Bisbing, LCSW.

  • I was born in Boston and raised in North Carolina. Outside of my work and scholarship, I am an author of speculative fiction. I am also an avid theatre-goer and frequent theatre director. I live in Manhattan with my cat, the incomparable Sycorax.
